"Over the last 5 years our family has grown by 9 members. That is the number of players we have been honored to host. Every summer we start out as complete strangers and by the end of summer, they leave as family. They have helped coach our son into a better ball player, played big brother to our daughters, and given us a lifetime of memories. Each year we visit our "baseball sons" to watch them play college ball. Our children have been able to be part of the wedding party for one of our boys - Maid of Honor, Bridesmaid, and Groomsman. Our summers may be filled with a lot of baseball but it’s the relationships that mean the most."

"Hosting a Patriot's baseball player is one of the best things my family has ever done! Our baseball player was Caleb Cox, the catcher. He was extremely polite, helpful and a lot of fun to be around. He was very low maintenance. :) He fit right in like he had been living with us for years. We even went to see him over Spring Break at his new college in Little Rock, AR. And guess what, we get the privilege of hosting him again this summer!"
"Last year our family hosted two Patriots players and it was the best experience we could have hoped for. The boys seemed so grateful to have a place to sleep and a few basic meals provided. They did their best to be a part of our little family and went out of their way to greet my extended family when we were able to attend the ball games together. We’ve even made friends with the families of the polite young men who stayed in our small home.
Through this experience we’ve gained new friends, felt connected to our local baseball community, and have bonded with these young men to the point that we feel like they’re family.
To be honest, last year we didn’t know what to expect and what we got brought us so much joy and satisfaction that we can’t wait to see what this summer will bring."
