Patriots Run Rule Shock & Twins

Mulvane Scored 28 Runs in 2 Games As They Move to 7-7 On the Season.

The Mulvane Patriots grabbed a couple of much needed wins last weekend as they hosted Salina Shock on Friday and the Derby Twins on Saturday. The Sunday game versus Derby was cancelled due to weather. The Patriots are currently 7-7 on the season and 7-6 in league play.

Mulvane got an early lead and held on in a 12-2 win versus Salina on Friday as the Patriots celebrated Veteran's Night.

Mulvane's biggest inning was the fifth inning where they scored 5 runs in the frame.

Anderson earned the win for the Pats. He tossed six innings, giving up one run, eight hits, and walking three.

The Pats grabbed 9 hits in the game. Tanyon Schafer, Caleb Stull, Jack Maki, Colby Standard, Willie Ward, and Kemper Bednard each grabbed hits in the game for the Mulvane Patriots. Caleb Stull, Jack Maki, and Colby Standard all had 2 hits to lead the Mulvane Patriots. Caleb Stull had 1 home run in the game.

The Patriots collected 11 RBIs in the game. Tanyon Schafer, Caleb Stull, Jack Maki, Colby Standard, Noah Argenta, and Jackson Wilcox each grabbed RBIs for the Mulvane Patriots. Caleb Stull knocked in 5 runners to lead the Mulvane Patriots in RBIs.

Mulvane stole 3 bases during the game with Colby Standard and Keone Givens both recording stolen bases.

Mulvane surged early and held on in a 16-6 win versus Derby on Saturday.

Mulvane captured the lead in the 1st inning. The Mulvane Patriots's biggest inning was the seventh inning where they scored 8 runs in the inning.

White earned the win for the Pats. He tossed three innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, and walking one.

The Pats had 15 hits in the game. Jackson Wilcox, Keone Givens, Willie Ward, Colby Standard, Kemper Bednard, Patrick Bethea, and Parker Base each had hits in the game for Mulvane. Keone Givens went 4-for- 6 at the plate to lead Mulvane in hits. Keone Givens had 2 home runs and Kemper Bednard had 1 home run in the game.
